Why teaching?

  • Do you want a career which is challenging yet very rewarding?
  • Do you have a passion for your subject?
  • Do you enjoy working with young people and have a desire to help them fulfil their potential in life?
  • Do you want to make a positive contribution to society?

If the answer to these questions is “yes” then teaching could be for you! There are a variety of routes into teaching. If you have not already got a degree, you will need to ensure that you have one! It is possible to do a degree which will also give you QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
