Psychology Overview

Head of Subject: Miss V. Mistry

Psychology is the fascinating study of the human mind and behaviour. At GCSE this course will allow students to develop a deeper understanding of how we think, act and feel. Psychology aims to develop knowledge and insight into a variety of key questions: how does the human mind work? Why do we forget? Why do we obey? What are the causes of mental health conditions? How can we reduce the stigma surrounding mental health?

At A Level the structure of the course is a 2 year Linear that offers students the opportunity to understand the complexities of the human mind and behaviour.
