We are delighted with and proud of our Year 13 students.  A* grades were gained in English Literature and Fine Art and A grades were awarded in six other academic disciplines.  100% pass rate in 20 subjects and the average grade and point score per entry have both increased from 2018.

Our BTEC courses have also performed exceedingly well with Distinction and Distinction* being obtained by many students.

At this point 96% of our students, who applied for university, have been accepted onto a variety of their first and second choices.  Some students will read subjects at Russell Group Universities such as Archaeology at the University of Cambridge, Psychology at the University of Warwick, Mathematics at the University of Cardiff, Psychology at the University of Liverpool and Broadcast Production at Queen’s University Belfast.

Many of our students have been accepted onto their first-choice courses at their preferred University and have performed spectacularly. A student who gained A*, B, B grades and will study English Literature at the University of Worcester. Another successful student will read Law at Worcester and another who will read Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, with an integrated placement year, at Aberystwyth.

Particular note to Joshua Harry (far Left) securing three amazing grades at A*, A,  A and a place at Cambridge University (Corpus Christi)  to read Archeology, Stephanie Carter reading Psychology at Warwick, Sam Hawkswell to read Business at Worcester, Erin Boddice reading English Literature at Worcester and Tom Blyth Broadcast Production at Queens Belfast.

Head teacher, Dave Hadley-Pryce, was delighted for the students:

“This is another great year for our A Level students in this constantly changing educational landscape. Our strong results have been exceptional in our creative subjects, reflecting the importance we place on the breadth as well as strength of our curriculum. We congratulate our students for their many successes and wish them happiness and fulfilment in their future lives.”
