The Bewdley School is a Foundation School. Applications for school places at the start of year 7 must be made online here. The normal Pupil Admission Number (PAN) for the school is 168 in a given year group, though this sometimes increases with demand when numbers in the area are large. The school holds an Open Evening in September each year and an Open Week in July, but parents and carers are welcome to visit at any time.

From 1 June 2020, Worcestershire County Council have introduced a new co-ordinated approach to in-year admissions together with a new application form in order to meet new government regulations. You can find the new procedure for in-year applications here. This web page also contains a link to the new application form which you can find here. You will also wish to view the schools admissions policy and arrangements which you can open here:

Many parents and carers wishing to consider an in-year admission will wish to arrange a visit the school. Either phone and ask to speak to Lynne Oliver, PA to the Head Teacher, or email at . Prospective students are invited to tour the school with their parents or carers, to meet with the Head Teacher and the admissions process is explained during this meeting. For parents who have applied for a place for older children, the principal change is that an application has to be submitted to the Local Authority and NOT directly to the school, as in the past. The Local Authority will then forward applications to schools for processing, and under normal circumstances will contact parents within 10 school days
