The Bewdley School is a Foundation School. Applications for school places at the start of year 7 must be made online here. The normal Pupil Admission Number (PAN) for the school is 168 in a given year group, though this sometimes increases with demand when numbers in the area are large. The school holds an Open Evening in September each year and an Open Week in July, but parents and carers are welcome to visit at any time.

After the start of year 7, for any admissions during the course of the school year, applications must be made directly to the school. Parents and carers wishing to consider an in-year admission should initially contact the school to arrange a visit. Either phone and ask to speak to Lynne Oliver, PA to the Head Teacher, or email at . Prospective students are invited to tour the school with their parents or carers, to meet with the Head Teacher and the admissions process is explained during this meeting.

The Admissions Policy, found on our Statutory policies page explains the process for admissions to both the Lower School (years 7 to 11) and the Sixth Form. If a place is not allocated and parents/carers wish to appeal this decision information can be found on Worcestershire County Councils website Here
