Thank you to the members of our school community who have begun participating in the LFD testing from home. The first test was due to take place yesterday (Sunday 28 March) and by doing so keeps everyone within our community safe. Please remember that once you have completed your LFD test that you must submit your results to the NHS and to the school.

So far we have had a very limited number of results submitted for each year group, which is considerably lower than when testing took place in school.
Year 7 – 52%
Year 8 – 63%
Year 9 – 51%
Year 10 – 38%
Year 11 – 54%
Year 12 – 33%
Year 13 – 20%
There has also been very limited uptake for Thursdays assisted testing, as a result we regret to inform parents/carers that our testing centre will now close and assisted testing will not be taking place. All students should continue to do home testing from this point forward. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our test centre operatives, who have worked with us for the last few months and played a key role in keeping our community safe.
