Next Friday, 12 April is the last day of this term. It will be a normal school day finishing at 3.20, and will also be a non-uniform day.
We will be asking students to contribute £1. The collection will be to start a fund to develop the secondary woodland area at the back of the school, to create outdoor learning areas for students. This is the area between the school and the river. The eventual aim is to create areas of ecological interest, spaces for teaching outdoor skills which contribute to the Duke of Edinburgh Award and ultimately, outdoor classroom spaces. We shall also be bidding for other external funds to make this development work possible.
