Vaccination UK will soon be offering COVID-19 vaccinations in school. We are writing to offer the opportunity for our students to receive a single dose of the vaccine while attending school.

The main purpose of the COVID-19 school age vaccination programme is to provide protection to the children who receive the vaccine and it may also help to reduce transmission of COVID-19 in the wider population.

During the vaccination delivery Vaccination UK will maintain a range of measure to keep students safe from COVID-19.

The vaccinations will be carried out by an NHS immunisation team on Tuesday 2 November 2021 and more information about this will be issued nearer the time.

Please indicate your consent by completing the online e-consent. Please note that the cut-off for completing the consent is 2 days before the scheduled session, so we kindly ask that you complete this as soon as possible if you wish for your child to be vaccinated.

As previously communicated, we will not release students from their formal compulsory education for a COVID-19 vaccination without parental consent. Therefore, if you wish your child to received the COVID-19 vaccination within school, you must complete the above consent form prior to the deadline. We will communicate more information when we receive this from Vaccination UK.
